Elected Board Member (elected April 2026)
Maris Holt is a CFO consultant specialising in client-based
services with a strong background in audit, business advisory,
and internal controls. With extensive knowledge of XRB reporting
requirements for Companies, Incorporated Societies, and
Charities, my works includes providing tailored guidance to
enhance financial operations and governance
functions.
Mike King is a Partner at national law firm, Lane Neave. He
specializes in dispute resolution and litigation, with over a
decade of experience representing clients in various commercial
disputes.
Whether working with small societies or some of New Zealand’s
largest charities and companies, she helps to ensure a robust
financial function to meet industry standards and support
sustainable growth.
Outside of work Mike is actively involved governance, triathlon,
wider multisport, and running. Mike was a previous board
member of Touch Canterbury, and a New Zealand SME. Mike
regularly competes in short and long course triathlon, including
local races in Canterbury, Challenge Wanaka Half, Taupo 70.3,
and Ironman New Zealand.

Victoria Murray Orr
Appointed Board Member
Reuben has participated as an age group triathlete since 2012
in events from sprint course to Ironman and is a member of
Auckland City Tri Club. After spending most of his career in
financial markets in Asia he is now the General Manager
Institutional & Business Banking at Westpac.
Victoria is a multi-award winning communications and
marketing professional with over 30 years in PR, marketing
and event management . Victoria is the Global Marketing and
Communications Manager for the Challenge Family.
Ian Phillips
Appointed Board Member (resigned December 2025)
Ian is a Harvard Business and Master’s (MSc) educated
professional with expertise leading innovative strategy and
transformational teams in world class organisations across
diverse industries and sectors. Ian was previously the National
Manager Commercial for British Cycling, and is a now and active
member of the Wellington Tri Club
